Jennifer

Jennifer Erickson is the owner and artistic director of Dancers Inc. She teaches Tap, Ballet, Jazz, Acrobatics, Intro To Dancea, Rhythm & Rhyme and choreographs for the Performance Teams. Jennifer has a BS in Broadcast Journalism with a minor in dance. She is a certified member of Dance Masters of America and has completed two years of training at DMA Teacher Training School at the University of Buffalo in Buffalo, NY. Before opening her own studio, Jennifer was an Emmy Award-winning news producer for several TV stations in Alabama and New York, all the while studying and teaching dance. Jennifer has studied with numerous master teachers in New York, Los Angeles, Atlanta, Buffalo, Boston, Orlando and New Orleans. Most recently, she and her students and teachers worked with several choreographers from the hit Fox TV show So You Think You Can Dance including Mia Michaels, Shane Sparks, Chris Judd, Brian Freedman and Dave Scott. Jennifer is also active in the pageant industry and is currently the Contestant Choreographer for the Miss Alabama Pageant. Formerly, she choreographed and produced the Miss Point Mallard Pageant and the Morgan County Junior Miss Program. Jennifer lives in Decatur with her husband Lee, their daughter Kari and their two dogs Max and Daisy.
